“United Way of the Bluegrass is proud to recognize Bechtel Parsons for their generous support of the community. The investment of Bechtel Parsons and its employees will have maximum impact supporting a variety of programs that are working to make Central Kentucky a better place to live, work and raise a family,” said Bill Farmer, President of United Way of the Bluegrass. “Bechtel Parsons’ commitment to the community is exemplary and highlights them as a philanthropic leader in the Bluegrass.”
United Way’s goal is to create long-lasting changes by addressing the underlying causes of the problems that face our communities today. The organization challenges everyone in the community to work together to create a brighter future.
“Through the generosity of our employees, the United Way can continue developing and supporting programs to make a positive impact for people in our community,” said Doug Omichinski, project manager for Bechtel Parsons. “Our $100,000 in corporate and employee contributions was a great way to finish 2013 and provide the United Way a great start to the New Year.”
