United Way of the Bluegrass has been awarded a $10,000 grant from the Verizon Foundation to help extend support of the STEM Infusion program in the Madison County School District. The STEM Infusion program offers interactive, extra-curricular activities that promote fun, relevant and hands-on learning in STEM areas.
The grant awarded from the Verizon Foundation will help leverage community resources and fund out-of-classroom activities designed to help engage students and build a culture of excitement for STEM learning.
