FREE TRANSPORTATION ACCESS
Transportation assistance for eligible non-emergency needs.
Ride United is a transportation assistance program operated by United Way of the Bluegrass through 211 in partnership with Lyft and Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government.
The program helps eligible adults overcome transportation barriers by connecting them with *FREE RIDES to employment, healthcare, education and training, food access, caregiving responsibilities, government services, and other essential needs.
*While rides are free, riders are encouraged to tip their drivers if able and/or leave a positive review.
HOW IT WORKS
STEP 1:

Speak with a Navigator about your transportation needs.
STEP 2:
DETERMINE ELIGIBILITY
A Navigator will review program requirements and available transportation options.
STEP 3:
SCHEDULE YOUR RIDE
Transportation is coordinated and scheduled through 211.
