Kissling Circle - Planned Giving.
Fred R. Kissling, Jr. was a longtime advocate of United Way of the Bluegrass. He was a loyal volunteer and donor. He gave generously of his time and resources. Mr. Kissling was the campaign chair for UWBG in 1976 which was the first time we eclipsed $1,000,000 in fundraising. In true Fred fashion, he decided to make a final, long-lasting impact by leaving the largest planned gift in United Way of the Bluegrass history. Due to his never wavering support and selfless lifestyle, we honor him by naming our planned giving society - The Kissling Circle.
Increase your impact and demonstrate a spirit of caring for our community that inspires others as a Leadership Investor. Alongside nearly 800 fellow Central Kentuckians, you lead by example, through your financial investment, actions and voice. Your passion and generosity help to significantly improve access to basic needs, financial support for education efforts and programming to support families working toward financial stability.
As a Leadership Investor, you join a special society of United Way donors who work together to create lasting positive change where we live. Through specialized volunteer events, advocacy efforts and exclusive networking opportunities, you gain a stronger sense of how your United Way gift impacts the community while engaging with other professionals with a philanthropic heart.
Leadership Investors provide an annual gift of $1,000 or more — just $20 per week. They play a vital role in the work of United Way as it invests in programs and services targeting the critical community issues in Education, Income and Health.
To become a Leadership Investor or for more information, email Angela Crow or call 859.233.4462.
